Forgotten Farmland

These photos were taken off of River Rd in Carmel In.
The farmland was originally purchased from Eli Lilly in the 50's.
and had many animals on it including goats, chickens and horses.
below you will see some photos of the property. It starts off with
a silo with a caved in rooftop. Then we get into a couple of
the barns that housed the Horses and goats. Notice the decay.
I was told that the whole farmland is set for demo within a few
weeks.  I was lucky in deciding today to take a few shots of
earlier hamilton and Indiana history.

back end of Silo with sunken in roof top.
I was told the silo is the only piece on the property that will
not be removed. They are going to restore it & repair the roof.

First Goat Barn closest to silo.

Back of Horse Barn. Not many of the doors
remain. there are some more modern Electricity being ran
showing wires running to and from the barn.

Front side of Horse barn. a lot of debris spread
across in the front of the property.

Landscape veiw of the property. I was also
informed that a church would be built in its place.

Front of horse barn. loved the look of this
reminds me of a church for some reason. looks
like a cross on the front face of the barn

my favorite!
